The Foundations Entertainment University one-day program in January at the EAG International Expo London ExCel Center shattered all expectations, according to the organizers. Thirty-seven attendees from the UK, UAE, Spain, Belgium, Grease, Italy, and the United States gathered to learn about how to grow their games and family attractions businesses. Nine Foundations University sponsors also presented short sessions (Platinum Sponsors EMBED, US Bowling, Betson and Gold Sponsors Creative Works and Galaxy Multi Rides). Kevin Williams and Frank Price were the speakers and covered all of the major topics.
“Absolutely Amazing was the reaction as such a large group was not anticipated. I closed the registration at 30 but people continued to register up to the midnight January 16 and there were several walk-ins,” said Foundations University Owner Fran Seninsky.
Here is what some of the attendees had to say:
“Speakers were very good and had great knowledge in the subjects,” – John Martin, J. Holland & Sons
“Very informative, excellent content even though not everything was relevant. I have taken a lot from the course. It has really opened my eyes to where the industry is going.” – Tom Stevens, J. Holland & Sons
“I found the coverage detailed, informative and thought provoking for many parts of my FEC operations.” – David Barnham, SEGA Amusements
“A very good informative update on what is happening in the industry and useful info on staffing an FEC.” – Roger Pennington, SEGA Amusements
“Helps to take a different view on one’s workplace in a lot of ways. Eye opening!” – George Graham, Odyssey Bowl
The next Foundations University takes place March 24-25 in Las Vegas, Nev., in conjunction and prior to the Amusement Expo International. For more information visit www.foundationsuniversity.com or contact Frank Seninsky by emailing email@example.com or by calling 732-616-5345.
