The latter part of 2017 was an exceptionally busy time for Creative Works, the company behind the WOW experience. The company unveiled Mayday Escape Experience, a new escape room theme; debuted a new Hologate virtual reality game at IAAPA; and, not incidentally, raised over $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Mayday Escape Experience is more intense than previous themes and they raised the bar for integrated technology in the props and puzzles. Additionally the room can be reset in less than three minutes – a huge win for operators.
Creative Works partnered with Ignyte from Germany to bring the virtual reality attraction Hologate exclusively to North America. This four-player mini attraction takes up less than 300 square feet and the open air layout allows spectators to see the players and take in the action on the monitors above the playing space. With its advanced graphic technology and immersion and small footprint, Hologate is the perfect add-on attraction to complement laser tag, bowling, trampolines or any other anchor attraction.
The original plan for the Make-a-Wish campaign “Creative Works Memory Makers” was to run for the month of November but Creative Works President Armando Lanuti decided to keep it going through the end of 2017 and exceeded the original goal.
