Gold Standard Games/Shelti has announced the appointment of Paul Jacobs to the position of Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Jacobs will oversee the sales and marketing of Gold Standard Games’ full line of pool tables, air hockey tables, foosballs and dart machines for both the coin-op and home markets. Jacobs will be assisted by the existing Gold Standard sales team, which includes industry veteran Mick White, who will continue to handle some coin-op sales while taking an expanded role on the home side, and dart sales specialist Dan Larson.
Mr. Jacobs, a veteran of over 45 years in the coin-op amusement industry, brings an extensive resume to the company. His experience includes working in all sectors of the industry, operating, distributing and manufacturing. Most recently, he assisted in the sales efforts of Digital Centre America and Apple Industries. He has also owned his own coin-op distributorship and operating companies in his native state of Wisconsin.
