Media Vision Introduces TOMKAT VR

October 25, 2018 No Comments

Media Vision is now the exclusive North American distributor of the new KAT-VR, a leading VR ODT (Omni-directional Treadmill).

The TOMKAT breaks the barrier between the real and virtual worlds and is a perfect addition to any family entertainment center (FEC) with its small footprint and minimal physical space requirements. Compact and portable, the TOMKAT only uses around 2 square metres of floor space and its flexible design makes it easy to disassemble and move around. The unrestrictive design allows customers to walk through dozens of virtual worlds. Wireless sensors let players run, walk, freely turn around, crouch and jump in VR.

Canadian company Media Vision’s TOMKAT breaks the barrier between the real and virtual worlds and is a perfect addition to any family entertainment center (FEC) with its small footprint and minimal physical space requirements

The smart design is constantly reacting to every move that players make, supports them while they walk, and cleverly adapts to let them safely crouch or get down to pick items up. Universally compatible, with support for all major VR headsets and platforms, the TOMKAT is fully compatible with all VR games (including SteamVR) that support Free Locomotion such as Fallout 4 VR, PayDay VR, Doom VFR, Skyrim VR, Resident Evil 7 and many more.
