The Alexandria, Va.,-based ShadowLand recently hired Creative Works to design and install an immersive indoor black light miniature golf experience. ShadowLand owner Gene Taylor made the decision to add a new miniature golf course in order to bring something new to the community.

“Gene decided to renovate some existing space in order to better meet ShadowLand’s demographics and mixed-age families,” said Creative Works Vice President of Sales Russ Van Natta.

The nearly 4,000-square-foot course features 12 highly themed holes with a portable 13th hole to enhance the guest experience.

Creative Works is working with ShadowLand on another immersive miniature golf experience for the franchise’s Columbia, Md., location. The project is expected to be finished mid-2018. ShadowLand operates in five separate locations in Virginia and Maryland.
