The Tourist Attractions and Parks president and staff extend their deepest condolences and sympathy to Brian Duke and his family on the loss of 23-year-old son Allen Duke. Allen Duke was struck and killed by an SUV on March 18 in Durango, Colo. He is also survived by his mother Emi, sister Brianna and twin brother Evan.

According to a March 22 post by Tom Skelley in the Parker Chronicle, Duke, who was described as gregarious, empathetic and supportive, was five weeks from graduating from Fort Lewis College with an accounting degree.  He will be honored with a posthumous graduation at the school’s April 29 commencement, with his brother accepting the diploma, Skelley posted.

A memorial service will be held at the First Unitarian Society church at 1400 N. Lafayette St. in Denver at 1 p.m. April 8.
