Fun Factory, Inc.’s Warren K. Asing Wins Award

The Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce (NHCC) awarded Fun Factory, Inc.’s Warren K. Asing with an ‘Õ‘Õ Award last April at a gala at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom.

Asing is the executive vice president/chief operating officer of Fun Factory, Inc., and has been an integral part of the Fun Factory management team for over 30 years. A mentor to Asing has been Linda Fernandez, the president and owner of Fun Factory. He oversees as many as 40 stores throughout Hawaii and nationwide within the brand and the associated businesses of E.K. Fernandez Shows. As a leader for the brand, Asing has created thousands of jobs and delivered economic impact to various communities as well as bringing countless smiles to customers.

Asing majored in Food and Beverage Management and Travel Industry Management at the University of Hawaii and is a past board member, vice president and president of the NHCC. He and his wife Pam have three sons and 11 grandchildren.

Established 39 years ago, the ‘Õ‘Õ Awards have become one of the most prestigious honors presented to outstanding Native Hawaiians who, through their talents, have made significant contributions to improve the Hawaiian communities and the well being of Native Hawaiians.
