Five Tips for a Blue Ribbon Prize Counter

March 1, 2014 No Comments
  • Stay in Eyeshot: Keep merchandise in customers’ line of sight. Place children’s items lower and prizes for adults up higher.

  • Make Choices Count. Keep your redemption counter full and stocked with a variety of items.

  • Hang Prizes High. Colorful items are ideal choices to hang from the ceiling to draw customers’ attention to the redemption area.

  • Show Good Taste. Make a full retail display, with lights and mirrors, inside the cabinet. This is a much more professional approach than bins with a 100 pieces thrown together.

  • Hire Smiles. Keeping the shelves full of prizes is important, but cheerful redemption counter employees wearing bright, colorful uniforms, is also critical.
