Valleyfair Purchases New Auto Ride from Gould Manufacturing

November 1, 2013 No Comments

After 36 years of heavy use, Valleyfair Park in Minnesota is replacing the original Antique Auto Ride purchased from Gould Manufacturing in 1976. The new ride will debut on the park’s May 12, 2014 opening day. The auto ride has been so popular that the park decided to build an entirely new track in a different location in the park and keep this family diversion going for decades to come.
The newer Gould cars will have a few modern changes, such as Honda motors and updated safety features. Otherwise, the ride has remained fundamentally unchanged over the years.

For more information, call Gould’s Peter Loewen at 888-409-4500, email info@gouldmanufacturing.com, visit www.gouldmanufacturing.com.
