Aqua Talkers: A New Concept in Interactive FunApril 4, 2013 No Comments
Aqua Talkers LLC of Phoenix, Ariz., has announced details of their new talking fountain product line. Billed as “Friendly, Interactive Fountains” the sculpted characters are created as a standard line or custom designed to meet any specification.
Each Aqua Talker has up to eight individual water sprayers that come on and off, programmed to a character voice, music and audio effects. The figure engages, taunts and jokes with the park visitors while spraying them with various water streams and special effects.
The other unique feature of the talking fountain is the ability to turn off the program mode from its remote location and run all the features manually from a control board and head microphone. This allows the operator to talk to the guests and control the individual sprayers providing an unlimited array of entertainment and educational opportunities for the park or facility including promoting the selling of character merchandise. The figures can also be used in conjunction with other smaller props and effects to create a full playground at the fraction of the cost of a typical spray ground setup.
Two Tiki characters, “Maui Max” and “Barracuda Bill” made highly successful debuts last season at Hawaiian Falls waterparks in Mansfield and Roanoke, Texas.
Though the first Aqua Talkers have been installed in waterparks, custom characters can be created for any type of amusement, shopping or entertainment facility. All character and show designs are supplied by R & R Creative Amusement Designs of Anaheim, Calif. The Aqua Talker line is immediately available for order.
