Media Vision Inc. Spotlights Award-winning Products in a New FacilityNovember 1, 2012 No Comments
The September, 2012, opening of Media Vision Inc.’s Fun² family entertainment center location in Whitby, Canada, comes on the heels of 15 years of combat arena manufacturing and theming experience of the company’s Tom and Andy Appleton. The pair have successfully set up fun centers worldwide, and the locations are typically between 10,000 and 20,000 square feet. Well known for creativity, new product ideas and industry leadership, the Appleton’s are behind IAAPA Attractions Expo first place recognition winning attractions Bazooka Ball, Phazer Zone and Fluorescent Ink.
At Fun², all of the company’s great products are under the same roof in a space-saving, 4,500-square-foot facility that will make opening duplicate locations affordable for the average startup. The first, heavily themed location offers redemption games, a prize center, main foyer, two themed party rooms, two lane mini bowling and a robot combat arena offering two games in one arena, Bazooka Ball™ and PhazerZone™. This completely black lit center uses its patented fluorescent inks, and the facility’s potential for greater net profits and a smaller operating staff make it highly appealing to average investors.
PhazerZone™ is a combination of paintball and laser tag played in a glow in the dark arena, while Bazooka Ball™, another combination of paintball and laser tag, is great for both young and seasoned players. The Lost World Bowl Party room and pirate and wacky laboratory themed party rooms, Glow in the Dark Mini Bowling, a games room with redemption center, and more, make the center highly appealing to guests of all ages.
